Textarea size is defined when fckeditor is created. For example, in news hacked module, go to file include/storyform.inc.php and look for this line.

$oFCKeditor->CreateFCKeditor('message', 610, 350 ) ;

just seen a beta of version 2 has been released offering
ie and geeko compatability

as earlier versions been custominised to XOOPS wondering how hard would this be to adapt?

ok before trying to get the latest v2 beta working with the 1.2rc news module
thought makes sense to get it working with earlier version 1.6 first
unforutnately have had not much joy
is the earlier hacked news module mentioned in this thread available anywhere
