how are things going for any new version of xoops?

There was no official statement (newsletter) since 02-04, so i wonder when we will see the first betas for a new version?

As can be seen on the SourceForge Activity Statistics we have been quite busy recently and will be able to release a 2.0.7 beta.... soon (Sorry I am not at liberty to say anything regarding release dates, but it should not be too long)

What about the Xoops 2.0.7 RC1 released 4 days ago on SourceForge?

LOL, I've totally missed that (*cry for Skalpa to clear up my messing about*) just shows how much a simple grunt like me keeps up on current events.
I knew it was about to be released, but thought it wasn't open yet - but as you rightfully show, it is available.

I guess we wanted a little feedback before announcing it in order to be able to fix the most serious bugs so we can avoid the million forum posts about this piece of [censored] we call a release

However, I am running it on several sites without problems, so feel free to give it a spin and report bugs in the SourceForge bug tracker
