xcGallery thumbnails problem

hi all!!

i just installed xcgallery in my site and i had one problem...

the thumbnails of the images appears to have a wrong palette, they doesnt look like original images...

what can i do to solve this??

go to xcgal admin and change the store of images format.
i cant remember exactly but there is 4 or 5 format to store pics.
i have this problem too and solve this with change format.

Specifically, go into the preferences for xcGallery and change the image format to something like "GD2". That should be adequate.

thanks for your comments to all ;) it works hehehe

by the way... is there any way to disable thumbnails?? because i want to use the gallery for msn avatars only so, the thumbnails are practically of the same size in kb than the original images... so i'm using almost twice disk space for the same thing... any idea???
