We have recently started a non-profit with the mission of bringing high quality news and information from around the web to the public, and are seeking proposals from vendors interested in developing the site.

We think XOOPS might be an effective solution for our needs, and we are also open to other approaches as well.

As far as XOOPS goes, we’re unsure if our layout needs will be met with it, so if you’re thinking about making a proposal based on it, we recommend viewing the 2 files Layout Options and Current Mockup early on in the process.

We have already received some proposals and are fairly far into evaluating them, yet will be receiving proposals at least until the end of June 7.
