need help here, i have made a bad decision,

i am trying to change the name of the FAQ so i can use it for another purpose so i changed the file names of it on the server thinking it would change the title of the FAQ to wot i wanted it to be.

Files renamed were in xoopfaq

Also wot does clone mean in the admin section of the templates

hey hIBEES,

you can clone modules, but you would have to edit before you upload. you could you use any editor to do so, just use find and replace. the items you would have to replace is directory and sql table prefix.

edit: Don't mind me. Just pass along.

To clone modules, you'll need more than just the directory name changed. templates, tables, functions may need renaming.

Cloning templates let you edit the templates for the actual block or module content directly in the XOOPS administration menu to customize your site's look)

I was able to clone soapbox in that manner, i guess it is premature of me to generalize to other modules, but yes i could see where if i was running soapbox as well it would get messy.
