Hi everyone, I am having trouble. I am installing XOOPS 2 on a subdomain with a domain name that is forwarded to that subdomain.

The install itself all goes very well with all green lights and no aparent problems.

When the install is complete and I try to log in as the admin it says "Thankyou for logging in" but then takes me back to the page where I am not logged in....I try again and again but is just a viscious circle.

I hope someone can help me......

In the install I have used both, the actual virtual path (subdomain URL) and the Domain Name as the virtual path and get the same responce.

Thanks,
Booga.

Thanks Society.......

I created a index.html file and put the XOOPS site into a folder called "site" and put a link on the "non xoops" index.html page directing to the "site" folder and it did the same thing. It takes me to the login page and then when I put in my login details and click "Login" it is just like refreshing the page.......I end up back on the anonomous page like I haven't even logged in.

Does anyone else have a idea that may help??

Booga.

Try, set downloading cookies in your internet explorer configuration. I think, that then it will be O.K.
