I enabled the autologin feature. Some of my users are unable to log out. However, I have no problems on all 3 of my computers. Apparently, when the user clicks on logout, the screen appears to display the log out process, but takes the user back to the home page without logging them out. I did a search for "log out" amongst the forums but nothing came up. Has anyone ran into this problem?

Might this have something to do with their firewall?

I would definitely be asking them if they have Norton firewall. I've had some very weird happenings with the Norton firewall and Xoops, to the point where i'm going to replace it with Zone Alarm on my mum's computer.

I have Norton installed on all 3 of my computers... no problems. However, my work computer does NOT let me log out. No workstation firewall. It's a bit weird and I can't think of what would keep people from logging out. I also like to add that I'm using IPB as my forum instead of newBB which was not allowing some of my users to post. Seems like I cant get away from the problems.

hey bassman,

have you tried zone alarm? the issue above, i agree probably stems from nis.
