Hi,

I've search the forums and can't seem to find an answer to this, hope some one has tried this.

I want to take a backend.php from another site and implement it into a block in xoops. I thought a simple include would work but it didn't do it. So I then ran the backend.php through a parser (we'll call it rss.php) then I thought I would try include on that file, still no go.

I'm sure this is something easy. Right now I have it coming through an iframe into a block but it doesn't grab the theme then. If you need more info let me know.

K, I used the headlines, shows up great on the main page but when you click a news link it takes you to that second page and then you have to click on the news link again to be taken to the site with the news.

Can the second page be taken out of this equation somehow

would editting the headlinerrenderer.php do this? Just need some guidance

figured it out, only took a day

I editted line 17 in xoopsheadline/blocks/headline_block.html

changed line to
  • <{$items[i].title}>


    • just in case someone else wants to do this.....
