Ok... found the problem.

Those online checkers dont like the closing tag.
They like it:

But just check W3's xhtml checker: http://validator.w3.org/

Example 1 is invalid, because all tags must be closed in XHTML. I think those online checkers are simply not up to date.

So, if anyone knows better than me... close meta tags, or dont close them?

BTW: I just checked XOOPS original header.php, and XOOPS originally closes meta tags too.

Also, Keyword injection, shuffle, & user agent discrimination is done Just need to fix non english chars, and add a keyword limit. And send me your common words :o)

Whatever happened to this hack?

clicked on all the links provided and they dont exist.

Does anyone have one that can let me have better meta-tags?

Or can someone create a new Meta-Tag Module?

Including the following features:

1. Titles for articles, forum topics and sections In title tag.
2. Keywords taken from pages.
3. Words less than three letters used as disallowed.
4. The ability to disallow certain keywords such as people trademarks or swear words.
5. Duplicate keywords disallowed.
6. The abilty to add other Meta-Tags no featured in Xoops.


Titles would go something like:

Website name - Section title - Post Title

I think I will post this in the Module Requests section too.

I believe that this hack must be somewhere on my harddisk. But this hack was only working for XOOPS 1.3.x, so this might be not of use for you.

But if you want to have this hack anyway, I'll provide a download link (if i find the hack ).

A downloadlink would be appreciated eventhough if its only for XOOPS 1.3.x ... with some fiddling aroung maybe i could use it on the 2.0.6 ...
