Hallo jbaudin,

I did the upload and upgrade to your new code (per the earlier link you provided). All the same errors and problems continue to appear

Do you see them when you access my site? Perhaps if you see them, you can better determine the 'real' issue/problem.

By way of new problem: my site 'locks up' freezes when I try to use "Logout" after having tried to access Moodle. The error message I get is:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/pep-inc/public_html/modules/moodle/login/index.php on line 54

I pretty sure that this is a bad thing. I will post a message alerting users to this problem on my site...

Hello !
I went on your site http://pep-inc.com.
After logging in Xoops, i clicked on e-Learning.
I did not connect myself automatically.

Go to the admin of Moodle.
1 - Configuration --> Variables and set "forcelogin" to yes.

2 - Users --> Authentication
Select "Use an external database" and fill the form.
auth_dbtable: users (with prefix of your configuration see XOOPS_DB_PREFIX in mainfile.php of XOOPS configuration)

auth_dbfielduser : "uname"

auth_dbfieldpass : "pass"

auth_dbpasstype : select "Plain text"


I think of making a FAQ on the official Web site of demo.

I tried your latest instructions and seem to be getting further into the install but am still not there.

Here's what I did:Resized Image

After I made these changes here's the new error I get:

Thanks for your participation to promote Moodle4Xoops.

But there is an error. Which verion of Moodle4Xoops did you install?

I have corrected the v1.1 this week-end.
Perhaps must you take it.
