Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I could set Flat as default in NewBB?

Go to system admin > preferences > general settings and choose flat as your default view for comments. This affects your comments throughout your site and your forum view.

Also, people will need to have view comments flat in their user acccount too. That is done by clicking on edit account.

Thanks, I didn't realise that the setting in preferences would affect the newbb posts also.

My visitors are not familiar with the system. There is no excact translation for thraeded and flat, wich makes it an option that remains on the default setting. So, I'm in fact looking for a solution to force flat as standard...
