Hi everyone,

I was looking for a modules like the one on the right side of this page.

But after hours of searching I finally gave up and ask you ladies and gentlemen for help.

If you know of a coops-modules that has this to offer, please let me know (sadly I am not able to program it myself)

Best regards,

Stefan Silberstein

Re: Searching for a Counter-Strike server-module

I have played around with a great deal of query tools for my server booking module, but haven't had a great deal of success with anything but Tribes 2.

If you can contact these guys and ask what and how they use this one, I may be able to help you with it.

Hi,

I put one module on my private local site, which queries cs game. But I've change it from exoops (but code wasn't diffrent in sense of security)..and I haven't done language files (I've changed in polish without language )

but now I'm searching for:
1. new script for CS query
2. change module to config via Web (now you must edit .txt file )

tomorrow, when I will back to my home I will look out

[edit]removed previous post entry[/edit]

I removed the code because when reconstituted, the code didn't work as advertised. Sorry about that. I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll post a link to each of the three files so that they can be downloaded (that is, if there is any interest).

By the way, is this even what you're looking for? The only thing it's missing that was on the block at the site you provided is the next map and the time until the next map.

Mith -

I've code (as shown in post above) that can query (I believe) any Half-Life based server. Would it be helpful for you in your serving booking module?

Would be awesome.

My intention is to have a range of query classes (Tribes2Server, HLServer etc.) so that on the query, it takes a server type as part of the class name (just like the database child classes)

How much information from each query are you looking to get back? Or rather, what type of information?

Re: Searching for a Counter-Strike server-module

I guess, what is rather basic about each game is

Server name
Server IP & Port
Server specs (CPU, OS - dunno how much is normally available)

Gametype
Mapname
Players/Maxplayers

For each team (usually two sides + unassigned/observers/spectators), there would be a team name, team score, number of players
And then a list of the team players with score and name

If it wasn't for the T2 Master servers being down, I could show you how it is currently on TheLadder Booking Site

But just like there can be different classes, there can be different templates for different server types.

Just to add to this, I would say that a class with two properties: IP and Port as well as one function called query(), returning information to supply to the template.
