Hello

I've got the same problem... The RSS icon and the clickable title is shown on the headlines page, but there's nothing else.
Thank you for help.

Re: RSS Feeds

You add the feeds through the headline module. You have to use the urls that end in rss for them to work right with that module. For instance,http://myrss.com/f/b/b/bbcUkD8s9eh2.rss this one gives you the headines fromhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/

Thank you fot the answer. I updated the links (BBC and Google News), but it looks like before: Only titles with RSS-picture. On click on one of them, I think it does only refresh the page.

Re: RSS Feeds

I tested that link and it works on my site. When you click on a link in the headlines, it is supposed to bring up a page with Rss info on it and you wait for the browser to refresh and take you to the headline. If it's not doing this for you, there is a problem with your headlines module.

I reinstalled headline module and tried again and again, but without any results...

In MySQL/Block debug modus, there was only a messege shown:

Failed retrieving RSS feed from BBC News
Array

It's very boring... But thank you anyway.

Maybe a detailed description of what you have done (with the feedlink) would be helpful to figure out what your problem is.

Two days ago, I installed XOOPS without any problems... The headlines module contained the standard XOOPS feed.

I added a new one:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/syndication/feeds/news/ukfs_news/front_page/rss091.xml
I thought XML file will fit in fine too...

The standard XOOPS feed was shown, but the bbc not. There was only the title with rss picture. After that I deleted the XOOPS feed, but nothing happend. I updated the module... no results.
CBlue said yesterday, the file should end with rss, so I tried:
http://myrss.com/f/b/b/bbcUkD8s9eh2.rss
http://myrss.com/f/g/u/guardianUkA16vvw3.rss
http://myrss.com/f/g/o/googleGnworldleftnavVuztk10.rss
(and several other from myrss)

Again with updates, logouts etc... Nothing.

I reinstalled the headlines module, removed the protection of the homepage... there was still only the clickable titles... With click on it it refreshes the site with no feed.

I think it's a little settings problem. Everything else works very fine.

Thank you for your help.

I resolved the problem...

In class/xml, there's a saxparser.php file which should be replaced by this one:

I tried to display slashdot news and gentoo package news.

I only get the Title and nothing else, even with the suggested update.

What should I try. The .rss file downloads without any problems.
