Hi,

When I was using the XOOPS panel to administer my website, i found to system admin->preferences->mail setup. what functionality does this page provide exactly?

Re: mail setup?? what's it used for?

You can set up the mail server for XOOPS so that if you want to send emails to members of your site, it will do it using that info in there.
