Create just an html section

Is there a way to create html pages through Xoops? instead of having the sections mod for *everything* that I dont want on my homepage?

Re: Create just an html section

You can use cjay content to create html pages, it has an editor in it that allows you to save as html.

Re: Create just an html section

I can enable mods no probs, but then I cant see any content. Am I missing something? Lack of documentation doesnt help for XOOPS n00bs like me.

Re: Create just an html section

For most of those modules, you will have to chmod 777 the content directory in them to allow it to be writeable by all so content can be edited. With CJay content, you also have to chmod 666 some of the files. I believe the files you have to chmod are listed at it's download site in the description.

After Installation go to the XOOPS Template Administration and generate the Template for C-JAY Content.

How do I do that?? I must say the lack of documentation on these site (three of them are in foreign languages) isn't too good.
