Earlier there was some XOOPS core diagram available (now its gone :\). I guess it was made by kazu with Dia.

Now U can find even better uml-software choise, even with php reverse-engineering
http://www.phppatterns.com/index.php/article/articleview/98/1/11/

http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/php.html
http://www.waterproof-software.com/uml/
http://www.microgold.com/version2/articles/article3/PHPReverse.html

I've seen a pdf recently with some UML, but I guess it was about User class and maybe core. And I wanted core, module, amd especially comments feature (as I want to do some comments search module)

DB relation diagrams would be also a pleasant thing, like drupal fellows havehttp://lists.drupal.org/pipermail/drupal-support/attachments/20030530/7a6fd04a/cdm1-0001.png

I've been using UML on school and I think it could be of great value to both core and module developers. I didn't even knew there was one before. Happy to hear there is a model on the way

Is there any news regarding the diagrams yet? Has anything been released recently?

No, nothing has been released.

We haven't heard much from Kazu on this subject in some time and I do hope he can dig them up - otherwise we'll have to make them from scratch (which is unfortunately not a simple task... so... anyone with a lot of free time?)

Re: xoops UML

I'm giving this a go atm.

XoopsObject and some child classes
XoopsObjectHandler and a few child classes

Note that I have added the variabless, which are actually in the object::vars array, as normal attributes - this was done to clarify what is actually describing the object.

Updated the handler diagram to include the group, user and membership handlers.

I will divide the remaining classes into groups with e.g. comments and criteria classes on their own.

Herko dug up a diagram of the XoopsForm classes and although it may be the time for some updating of that, I think it could be good to have that as well - *begging eyes at Herko*
