Hi, i were installing XOOPS in my own computer with EasyPHP

I created a database, then i runned xoops, when XOOPS tried to connect to the database with the correct username and password, that says that cannot connect to the database. I think i've made all right but...

I appreciate some help discovering whats wrong, or if anyone give me a tuturial on how to instal XOOPS with EasyPHP.

Thanks for the Time.

PS: Sorry my bad English.

Hi there,

Try going into your phpMyAdmin and create a new user with your own username and password and set to all permisions. Then try that.

Also make sure that everything is enabled. Do this by going into the EasyPHP window.

Good Luck
