I don`t know this is possible or not. I wish XOOPS can do automatic upgrade. Means we only need to open a page then it will execute all the required things to upgrade the xoops. as i said if POssible.. . Because i don`t understand php and all those things at all. I just know XOOPS is just that fun! :P. THX.....

It would be great - yes - and I know something similar has been mentioned before....

Rather like "windows update" (spit! :)) - but essentially just an message and link that appears under admin - "A newer version of this module is available. Do you wish to update?" sort of thing?

A "new version available" message should be possible, but automatically updating is something else. For one thing, you'd need the webserver to have write access to all parts of XOOPS, which is not recommended
