Aprove User Registration?

I was looking for a way that I could manualy go in and aprove every registration that some fills out on my site and submits. If I dont aprove it the account is not active ect... I have seen this for other cms portals. Can it be done with this one?

Administration menu -> System Admin -> Preferencs -> User Info -> Select activation type of newly registered users to "Activation by administrator"

I am unable to find the "User Info -> Select activation type of newly registered users to "Activation by administrator" area. I dont have that option under prefs, based on what it says at the bottom of all my webpaes "

Am I running the wrong vers. I just install it the other day right from there website.

There is an are that say
Verify for manual signups? Requires GD! Yes|No. I set it to yes. but I dont know what GD is?????

Hi,

You are confusing e-xoops with xoops. E-xoops is a fork of XOOPS 1.3.x. You might want to surf to e-xoops.com for support for e-xoops.

However, another solution is to download XOOPS (https://xoops.org/general/download.php) and install that in place of e-xoops. However, every cms has it owns pro's and mins. You might want to check both of them and use wich one you like most.
