Is there any way of stopping news pieces etc. from expiring?

Not setting an expiry date should do it.

On the flip side of this. Is there anyway to expire articles on mass without going into each one indiviually?

Hi Mithrandir,

There seems to be no way of deleting (or unsetting) the expiration date from the Admin interface. I usually set expiration dates for articles so that I can review them 6 months later. If they are still applicable, I want to unset the expiration. If not, I delete the article.

Right now, I go into phpMyAdmin and change the 'expired' column to zero. It was easy at first with a few articles, but as articles were added, it can get tedious to shift tabs from XOOPS admin then to phpMyAdmin.

Would this be available in the next News Module?

It would be really nice to unexpire something that you may mistakenly had set to expire...
...seems like a simple and logical enough thing to have...
