I have a bazzar problem i can't seem to work out i don't know if it is a XOOPS bug but here goes.

When in my XOOPS admin and i go to put in a news artical there is a little button that says you can insert an image so i put the url into it and then i get
and i think to myself excellent. But when i publish the news artical and go to view it this is what it looks like with no image.

A beefed-up gaming entertainment in Oklahoma will bring in more money for education, and will save the horse racing industry that was threatened with failure. blah blah blah....

no image whats the go.@

It sounds too obvious, but is the address correct?.. can you post the [img] here to test it?? Can you call the image in your browser ok?

found it .. it is a bug with xoops. at anytime if there is () brackets in the name of the image file it will not accept it. for example in my case i had sign(1).jpg i changed it to sign1.jpg worked like a charm

No problem this is just a small bug however would be a good idea to fix it within the next fix so make sure the devs put it on there fixit list
