Good afternoon fellow Xoopers,

I have just set up a site for my wife to share with fellow students on her course, and due to its nature it is intended for a closed audience. In order to achieve this I have set the registrations for webmaster confirmation. All works OK, but I want to put a simple text block on the top page explaining what to do next. Unfortunately I cannot find a way to have a block appear for anonymous users, but not for registered users. I have selected all blocks available to anonymous users in the setup menu, but on creation of the new block, it is in the list for registered users, and unavailable for anonymous viewers. I have checked the FAQ, but been unable to find any information. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks in anticipation,
Paul

PS - XOOPS version 2.0.6

Who can see which blocks is set in "groups" in System Admin.

Just select the registered users, untick the custom block and save - after that, select the anonymous user group and tick the custom block and save.
