Ok, I just installed XOOPS yesterday, got it sort of working, but I have a few questions, I notice that on most of the themes, it has the listed modules on a top toolbar as well as side(ie news, polls etc). What I would like is the news to be posted on the main page, instaed of on a separate page. I'm also trying to get my page to look like this one (http://tnc.netfirms.com), Any help would be appreciated, my current website is http://www.teamtnc.com. You can reach me over aim as adamgrz. Basically I'm fairly new to configuring themes, Ive read the Wiki stuff, but it didnt clarify that much for me. Thanks for any help.

In preferences set your home page to show news page.
this will show your news on front page.

As far as themes you just have to work with them. there is no easy explaination of themes just learn to work with css js and XOOPS look at the difference in some of the themes available in downloads. not much to them if you just look over the contents and the install process the rest is all what you know about design.
