Hi,

After I directed the URL "www.aboutachou.tk" to my current URL, Safari users seems to have problem with the login at my site. You can check it out at Aboutachou, as you can see, the current fix I've figured out is by clicking on the "home" and login again, the problem seems go away. Does anyone have any advise on why this is happening and perhaps an easier fix?

Thanks

Matthew

Since you are logging in from http://www.aboutachou.tk/ but the cookie is read in subsequent pages (to see that you are logged in) from http://s93060648.onlinehome.us/ it won't find it since cookies can only be read by the server, which sets it.

I see, that is a good point. What would be a fix for that problem? Since I cannot put my XOOPS on the ".tk" server for it's a forwarding only service. I did find that it's possible to login from other browsers.

Thank you for your reply

can you remove the URL masking?
So that people can still put in the .tk address, but when they are forwarded, the URL in the address bar changes to the .us domain?

I do not believe the hosting company allows me to take off the masking. Even if it did, I rather not show the homepage address, unless if its' absolutely necessary.

I have tried changing the virtual path fix, however it made my server display "404 file cannot be found" error. Any other suggestions?

I really appreciate the help very much.

Thank you
