Hi,

I'm using XOOPS in combination with the dutch language files.

I found some incorrect translations, so I fixed the language files and copied them to my website.

Although I have uploaded the fixed language files, I remain seeing the old (wrong) translation.

How can I force XOOPS to use my fixed translations?

Are you sure you translated the correct language files? Some constants may be in more than one file. Check the files showing the wrong translations and see, which language file(s) those are coming from.

Otherwise I have no clue unless your pages are cached and hence not updated.

I checked all the files in the folder xoops/language/nederlands, none of them contains the word nickname anymore.

But when I go to my site, I still see "nickname" instead of the dutch translation at the log-in section in the left column.

Could it be that XOOPS only read the language files in certain situations (for example: when they aren't available in the memory, I don't know)
