this is the error i get when clicking on 'message board' link in the main menu after installing IPB module:

my mistake.. I had changed /ipboard/sql/mysql.php file and that's why the error comes up.

I am uninstalling and uploading a clean copy of the whole files to fix this self-inflicted error

well I haven't resolved another problem, this is related with the cascade sheet's between XOOPS core and theme and the one used by invision powerboard module..

when I placed the main page as the invision board index.php, I get a background blue for my site. but when click on a link on the top the background is lost.. other than that it's performing well with a minor adjustment I need in the post a new topic pages which is braking my theme on the top.
