I hd exctly he same problem with chatmx. No chat room shows!. I had flash installed so that shold have not been an issue. Then I loaded Mozilla firebird an it lt worked perfectly. Well almost ... There's no cursor in the input form, but that could be a script problem.

Try using Mozilla, its a good browser anyway, streets ahead of IE 5 or 6

My appologies fiore, I think I have answered the wrong question for you

You are not even seeing the module in the Admin>modules, install section of modules?

Are you sure you have uploaded the file list in a single directory. I have seen modules packed in nested directories like this

"Module name V1.2/ module_name/modulename/the list of files and folders appears here. "

If you upload "Module name v1.2" ie the root directory the file list is in nested directories below. If this is the case your Module install will not see this module!

Check this out first, like wise the counter module

I know that, but i'm sure idid it well, and a did it many times. But i'm sure about the right way i upload this module because i did also in my local pc version. And here it works well. That'why i think is more a configuration file missing
The directory name is ../modules/chatmx and in this directory there are all files.

Well, I have the same problem than you both. In my local server Apache it works perfectly, but not in the Red Hat Linux Server of my hosting.

Some friends who use Mozilla couldn't use it too.

It's a mistery :(

I am looking for another chat script, because even when chatmx works, it really is not what I want. (cursor problem) Sorry I can't help further but I've taken it off my server now.
