This is simple, I know, but I don't see it answered anywhere:

Was running 2.05, want to keep current. How do I do that? D/L 2.0.5.2 and copy all the files, overwriting existing ones?

you have only to upload the XOOPS 2.0.5 to 2.0.5.1 patch and then the XOOPS 2.0.5.1 to XOOPS 2.0.5.2 patch

Duh! Told you it was simple. I'd seen the reference to the patches in the wiki, but I had hit the 2.0.5.2 link and downloaded the whole business, and the patches weren't there. The patches were a different download.

My Bad. Sorry about the bandwidth waste, and thanks for a more civil answer than many might have offered, given the nature of the question.
