How do I remove the notification options? I want to remove it from the menu and if possible from the user options..

For modules, go to Admin Menu and click Preferences/Configuration of the Modules and disable notifications.

For the user menu, go to Admin Menu -> System Admin -> Blocks, look for the User Menu and edit template. (You can also do this from the Templates Management). Comment out the part where the <a href> for the notification is called. Comment out that whole line for notifications. Remember to use HTML comments <!-- -->.

i dont understand the first thing....

when i go to the admin menu i get to the controll pannel... what shall i do ther ?

For each module with notifications go to that module's Preferences (perhaps named differently) and disable notifications for that module.

then click on the module icons with notification, then on preferences/configuration and there disable the notifications

I got that, but what about the user menu? I cant save the changes to the text.. just view it... but that doesnt work either.. =)

u have to clone the template to a new template set.. the default templates r not changeable.
activate the template and modified the templates mentioned above
