I don't know if it is know bug or not.
I am using 2.0.4

The problem is original avatar image is overwritten when somebody upload custom avatar image.

The problem is like this: --
1 record deleted from xoops_avatar table (replace with the new customer avatar)
2. Image file also deleted

Do you mean that all other users' images are overwritten and deleted?

I've experienced the same problem when a user changes from a system avatar. The Avatar file previously in use by the user is deleted if the user A) uploads a custom Avatar, B) changes to a different system Avatar, or C) just selects no Avatar.

Just tested this with a brand-new user. Both the xoops_avatars record and the file are being deleted! This occurs even if another user has the same Avatar selected.

Ouch!

I have upgraded to 2.0.5.1 however same problem happened. As my site have limited user, I just ignord this problem and waiting for new release (hopefully it will be fixed).
However, I just want to know, is it a known bugs or set-up issue??
