a big list of features that should be added to XOOPS :

- html allowed anywhere ( comments, signatures, posts articles ) with admin option to set on and off

- arhive for commments and forum ( for big sites ) ( like in vb3, with that search engine indexer form www.techwizards.com )

- for news, newbb, comments ( article.php?storyid= etc ) should be posible with a simple push of a button to turn in /article/story/id ( the source of the script can be found in Md-Pro, but must be adapted to XOOPS )

- announcement in forum, sticky, and all those other like in phpbb

- admin can set defaults for all the fields on user register ... and other modules

- static html page generation ( from php ) for those who want that

- more skin based, or skin compatible

- and if ya search the xoops.org and xoopsromania.com forums you will find a lot of other request.

Re: Next version of Xoops

Erhm...

a) You ARE on xoops.org forums... we do know what is written here

b) You are writing this in the Templates forum because.... why?

c) Several of your requests is already part of the discussion in the roadmap forum.

d) Static html page generation? What for? Everything in XOOPS is meant for dynamics and database-drive... html apart from the already present cache seems a bit... unnecessary (at least to me)
