Modifying groups

Im trying to modify the users in the groups..

But one of the groups when i go inside it underneath the checkboxes where you set the permissions it isnt showing the two columns of users where you add or delete them to the group...

it shows in all of them except the one group....


any idea whY?

This was a bug in older XOOPS versions. Should be fixed in XOOPS 2.0.5. Which version are you using?

i just installed .5.1 and still getting the same problem any suggestions?

Can you try deleting that group and then remaking it? Maybe it was just a glitch.

Its the standard members group.. i cant delete it..


Anyone else have a suggestion?

If it's your list of registered users, then why would you need those two boxes that you use to add members to? Registered users are always in the registered users group. It's only the webmaster's group and any other groups you create yourself that you would need to move users back and forth from.

i want to remove them from this group, and add them to a group that has access to NO modules or blocks.

so in effect this user is suspended from the site,

unless you can think of an easier way?

im sure there is one..

Try the update again to the current XOOPS and make sure that each file that you are uploading actually overwrites the files it is supposed to be overwriting. That was my problem with getting the invisionboard mod to work and to get my version of XOOPS 2.0.3 to update to anything higher at all. I turned out the files just weren't being overwriten.
