Is there someone that can help me out with YM_Downloads RC1, the one that will let users upload file directly to my site.

Did it only make it to RC1? I cant seem to get it to work right. It will not let me upload an image, the image file type is in the allowable list, but it just wont take it. I think everything else will work right, but I have not got a file to upload to try it out. Even if I leave the "upload screenshot" empty, it still give the same error "invalid image file"

any ideas or help from people that have this mod installed is appreciated.

Hi,

Which version of XOOPS are you using, as it will only work on 2.0.5+ and did you copy the uploader.php file with it.

I am currently updating this module as we speak and hope to release RC2 within the next week, with many bug fixes reported here.

hmmm, I will have to double check on that file. I am running 2.0.5. I'll let ya know about that file.

mm, I do not see "uploader.php" anywheres in the module I downloaded, so I am gonna assume that it is not in there. Where can I get this file?

arrg, I found it, not sure how it did not get loaded, gonna upload it now.

Try updating to the newest release of Xoops, it has the updated uploader class that is needed for this module to work correctly

The only problem I have so far is when someone uploads something with the same name. The original file apparently gets overwritten. Is there a way to fix that, or go one step further and do like the xcgal does by making an individual folder for each user based on their id number when they upload, that way all of their uploads will be in their folder.

I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere or not, but I found that MyDownloads will let you create the same category name more than once. Is there going to be a fix for this?
