I see this has been asked several times and I have spend over 2 hours trying to sort this out myself before I come crying to you all here.

I can log on as admin have lost my User Menu with the administration link.

1. When I login it says "Thanks admin" then it redirects to "Incorrect Login"
2. I've tried using this trick but to no avail:
http://localhost/mysite_dir/user.php?op=login&uname=xxxxxxxx&pass=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 3. I've tried logging on and point to xxxxxx.admin.php but it says I do not have permissions
4. I have Nortons AntiVirius but no Firewall
5. I have just reinstalled a new local WAMP webserver on my XP laptop. apache 1.3.23

Any ideas????

I had that atfirst to, but I login as new user and logout. And copy in the database, the passcode from the new user to the admin. Then login in as admin with that new password. I amit its not nice but a workaround.
