I'm sure this would have been asked before, but my searching couldn't bring anything up.

I've made my own custom block/menu which sits below the main menu. What I want to do is, for each link in the custom menu, have another custom block appear in the centre block area and replace whatever happened to be in the centre block area. The custom menu block works inasmuch as the links are there but with no URL at the moment, only the "#" null link. I'm sure i've seen somehere where it's possible to call ablock by it's ID number, but I can't find it now.
Any suggestions?

What you want to do is not possible! You have to use a content module for this!

With TinyContent you were able to create contents and show links for the content in a block. This is that what you want to achieve, right? The newest version of TinyContent requires XOOPS 2.0.5, since this version has a few nice new features.

Thanks Chapi, I thought as much. I just wanted to be sure before I went ahead.

OK I downloaded 2.0.5 and uploaded it to my sever. what's the easiest way to upgrade? Change the mainfile.php to point to the /xoops-2.0.5 folder, or copy the new folders over the old ones?
