I migrated from an old Xoops to XOOPS 2.5.11-Beta2, and it is now impossible to use emoticons with a smartphone. They are replaced by ???
In 2022, it is a non sense to loose this.

Do you have any information about a release fixing this?

XOOPS still has the same smileys/emojis as before, and you can use them, and they are accessible as before.

When you say that you've upgraded an "old" version of XOOPS, what version are we talking about?

And how did you use the smartphones smileys with it?

Since I don't believe that anything has been changed in the emojis handling, it should function as before.

Unless, you see the "smartphones smileys" as a new feature that should be added to XOOPS?
