Hi,
Please, I need to install a good Directory Module.

I installing this Module XDIRECTORY see here
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xoops/files/XOOPS%20Module%20Repository/XOOPS2/xDirectory/

But does not work correctly, In admin section does not appear to create categories.

Which module you recommend.

Lets start out with the basics...

What version of PHP are you using?
What version of Xoops are you using?

Chances are that the module you are looking at is old and hasn't been updated in a while and if you are using a newer version of xoops will need to update or have the module updated.

This is the site and the module Version 1.50
Module XDirectory


The last module update was on 2005
$modversion['name'] = _MI_XDIR_NAME;
$modversion['version'] = 1.50;
$modversion['description'] = _MI_XDIR_DESC;

THIS IS THE ADMIN SECTION,
I think it could work on the upgrade, but someone has to help

The module you can see the section to publish,
what is missing is to create categories in the admin section

I think it's not much too fix it

Maybe you have problems because you use a spanish Xoops and an english module.

Try with english Xoops and english module and let us know.

You can also try a more recent module (in english) : mxDirectory

I've made some quick and dirty cleanup to the mxDirectory on my GitHub, so you can check it out, if you have problems with this mxDirectory version suggested by Cesagonchu. It is the same code, but just with few changes for recent versions of PHP. Please note - it is not much tested, and not finished by any means! So proceed with caution!!!

You can also take a look at the Gnavi module from XoopsCube Japan, but I didn't test it on XOOPS 2.5.8

The module is intalled and all it Ok at this moment, ejemple I create 2 category to test the module.

YOU CAN SEE IT FROM HERE

The map it working perfect, it important add the righ zipcode, and not problem, and the print secction it working ok

Also the SUBMIT SECCION NOT PRESENT PROBLEMS TOO

Now I will translate the module to Spanish

Hi, Mamba,

I DID THIS IN THE MODULE MXDIRECTORY
1. I finish the Spanish translation it ready,
2. I Add image at the top header index page
3. I Separate the publications on the index page, they are joined at each other

TO SEE THE MODULE CLIK ON THIS LINK

I NEED FIXED THIS PROBLEMS:
1. I need to fixed the problem of classifications or rate it not working
2. I need to fixed tell a friend section.
I do not know how to do it.I searched unsuccessfully solutions
