@sova
I have done the transfer of all you categories and articles to the publisher module

you have only to do the step 4 because I didn't get the ftp access
4Publisher uses the image manager to manager the article images
-> Copy all images from "uploads/xnews/topics/" to "uploads/"

You need to set up the publisher module! There are a lot of preferences there so take your time to do it

sova had also problems with writing comments in articles.
there were 3 colums missing in the table 'xoopscomments': com_user, com_url, com_email

have fixed that

1) This error:

PHP Strict Standards:  Non-static method Protector::getInstance() should not be called statically in /xoops_lib/modules/protector/include/precheck_functions.php on line 12

indicates that you have an older version of XOOPS that doesn't support your PHP version. You probably have PHP 5.4.x and either:
a) XOOPS older than 2.5.6, or
b) you have XOOPS 2.5.6 but you have not updated the files in /xoops_lib

So please either install XOOPS 2.5.6, or update the files in /xoops_lib

2) The error about memory could have different reasons. If you have access to it, try to change your php.ini file, and increase the available memory, and see if it helps.

xoops version XOOPS 2.5.6
version php 5.4.23
version mysql 5.5.34-c
post_max_size 8M
memory_limit 32M

I've re-uploaded in to /xoops_lib
and does not work.

What doesn't work?
Are you still receiving both errors?

try to install a fresh xoops 2.5.6 in a subfolder and see if it works there
