hi tatane

1) please download nightly from simple-xoops (rev. 189), I fixed a bug I found

2) Import tool works as following:
a) adding the email to subscriber list (table xo_mod_xnewsletter_subscr)
b) subscribe this new email to the selected newsletter cat (table xo_mod_xnewsletter_catsubscr)
it seems that you have no newsletter cat
in the video in the dropdown in column "Newsletter Name" you see "no Import"
therefore no Import will be done

please create a newsletter cat first and try again

The import went well.
I have a small beug.During the import I get the message " Retournez là où vous étiez"

What is unfortunate is that when importing XoopsUsers is not important for users to accept notifications

hi tatane

thats the same for all import plugins. the thinking behind this import plugins is to import emails from another already existing newsletter module, so the registration, the confirmation and so one was already done in past by the old module.

the owner of the email does not get a seperate notification (why should I inform him, that I changed module, but his subscriptions stay the same)


does anyone else have a suggestion for an addtitional plugin?

I found what you mean:
1) If I didnt have any subscritption till now, and I click on (Un)Subscribe, I get the information

and a form for subscription.

2) If I have already subscriptions and I delete it, the newsletter module delete my email with all subscription, show me a popup with "Deleted successful" and redirect me than again to ...modules/xNewsletter/subscription.php
Now I see again the same as in 1)
I change the redirect_header, than it isn't no more confusing


All the other functions works fine.

You can delete the access.

Thank you and no I won't delete your access because I think we would have other problems with other modules in the future

I don't hope so

Do you need an additional plugin for import from another Newsletter module?

Apart Evennews, you've done I think, there is only SmartMail that exists. Up to you if you want to do, if someone needs it.


EDIT: Oh no there is Subscribers and Hermes also.
