Re: Password recovery error

Geezum. Okay, with spaces I can get the site to stop changing the actual paste.

If the site make changes to the pasted URL/code, you can always try with code:

http://mysite.com/modules/profile/lostpass.php?email=xxxxxx@xxxx.xxx&code=0c4b9

If you go and validate the real link that you've received from XOOPS with

http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_uri

it will come as a valid link.

Re: Password recovery error

The line of code was valid and was used to change the password. I just had to select the entire line and copy past that.

So the problem is that some email programs are not interpreting the entire line as a link. They see the word email and convert the link to an email link.
