This is the current update on this:
1) I've updated the existing old XoopsFAQ 1.10 to work on XOOPS 2.5.6 and tested it on PHP 5.4.17. It is the version 1.11. Tatane reported that it works OK for him. If you need it, you can download it from
XOOPS File Repository.
2) I'll work on update script in the XoopsFAQ 1.24, so you'll be able to update existing versions 1.10 and 1.15. Please note: this will be the last release of XoopsFAQ, as we'll concentrate our resources on the SmartFAQ.
3) I'll also work on an Import script in SmartFAQ, so you could convert XoopsFAQ (either 1.1x or 1.2x) to SmartFAQ.
