I'm having a problem with a custom block. Can someone help me?

I built a simple RSS Feeder using Trabis's Dummy module. It has 2 RSS Feeds in it and it works fine as a dummy module.

I want one of the feeds to show as a block and I can't get it to work.

Here's the module

I want the first feed to show in the block

TIA!!!

It would be hard to make it.
It is a very simple module that provide simple rss feed.
Why you dont use a more advanced module.
personally i like JIG module, xhld which works flawlessly in my website for more than 6 years without upgrade.

it is clonable so i change it to Potterheads in my website.

You need to install it with altsys.

I did a search here and didn't find anything other than reaggregator

xhld didn't come up in the search

can altsys run without problems on 2.5.6?

Check out this category in XOOPS Module Repository. Xoops Headline has been updated by Zyspec for XOOPS 2.5.5

Thanks Mamba

altsys 0.71a won't install on 2.5.6

Here's a non-module related question. What are you using to create your feeds with pictures?

Try Altsys 0.80

Personally I don't use feeds with pictures. Maybe somebody else can help you with it.

maybe Xoops Headline is better to use because xhld is a dead module.
I test Altsys 0.71 and 0.8 on xoops256 and both have not issues.
just xhld needs some corrections in sql files:
TYPE= to ENGINE=

xhld never worked with images since 2.5.1a. Even though it gives you the option to display embedded images on news articles, they do not.
