I haven't started using Xoops yet since I am still reading the manual

Is it possible to build a download portal similar to Soft32, download.com, Softonic with Xoops?

Apparently from what I see it seems to be possible. I also saw a download module as you can see on this webpage which seems to be good for product details

I would like it to show custom fields like operative system, type of license, language and other kind of information along social like/sharing, ratings, comments and a buy now button which redirects to a link

If you click on "Descargar" which means download, it redirects you to a count down and I would like to add that as well

I also would like to be able to provide category listings that contain icon, small description, rating and a download button

I would like the same for a small block placed on the webpage (left, right column) to display the most downloaded software, top rated and new software in a similar way as the category listings would show.

Is it all customizable? Does it require custom development?
