Hi All,

I'm using Xoops 2.5.5, and have a members-only section of my website for people who possess physical membership cards for the organization that the site is geared towards.

What I'd like to do is verify people's membership in the organization in order to grant access to the private forum, by having them submit (upload) a scan of their membership card, which would then be approved by a moderator / admin.

Does anyone know of a module that can (or can be modified to) do this?

I think you can do it with any contact modules have the upload feature.
but if you need an in depth permission control contact module that people sent information and it will approve by several moderators you should use a ticket system.
And unfortunately the Only Xoops ticket system module Xhelpis not developed for some years and have many bugs.

I don't see much in the way of Contact modules in the Module repository that appear to have what I'm looking for. It's surprising that a system that's been around as long as XOOPS has wouldn't have this. Does everyone just make their own custom hacks or what? :)

i think Contact and/or Liaise module have upload feature.
do you try them?
you should download the latest SVN.
