The extensions should reside in their own directory and not the module directory.

Please submit a request to SourceForge. I tend to agree with you, but I don't know how easy it will be to do.

Done

If I have time I will look into it further tonight myself and see if there is an easy solution. I should have some time this week.. Assuming my laptop will let me work on 2.6...

I can confirm that blocks are not draggable.

Hmm, don't have these problems with PHP 5.3.15 and PHP 5.4.5

Can somebody else confirm the issues, and specify the platform they are using?

Server: Open Server
PHP: 5.4.5
Apache: 2.4.2
MySQL: 5.5.27

Installation is OK.

Modules - System - Blocks
Blocks are not dragged

Если поможет (Firebug)

I tested on other browsers, and it seems it is a jQuery 1.8 issue.

It seems to be working fine with jQuery 1.7.2

Try to replace the jquery.js in

/media/jquery

folder with jQuery 1.7.2 and let us know if it works now.

It seems the block dragging problem is solved, nice. But what about the issues I get?

Quote:
Install gives a blank page after step 10, all other steps including step 10 don't give any errors or missing extentions. It's on a shared hosting server.

In spite of the stranded install I can alter the site and also get to the admin interface. All seems to work except the system module preferences, all system module options are giving a blank page... Is this due to the fact the install stranded or is it a problem with the system module?

I know the php version used is lower then the prefered one... But as many of us use shared hosts, compatibility with less optimal servers should be nice!

Another problem I found is with Internet Explorer (9). The dashboard does not show Icons (see screenshot) and when installing an extension the results are not shown. With chrome and firefox all seems to work fine. Could this also be related to the jquery issue?

The maintenance module gives an error in configuration check:

Is this an exception caused by my hoster or a common issue with install?

We'll need to add it back. I'm missing it too - it was very handy!
