Hello

I want visitor counter for TDMDownloads Per file
& block for most files visit

please how i can do it ?

You have already a block for the most downloaded files. Why would you want to have the most visited?

What would be the difference? That the user visited it, but didn't download it?

I don't use TDMDownloads for download files

I will remove the download button & download counter

I still don't understand the purpose of it.

What do you do with it? How does it work?

Maybe you need another module for it?

"News" module and other content modules counts how many times people read a particular article, so it might be a better for you.

Look, we're trying to have modules with features that are useful for 80% of people. If you need a specific feature that is only for you, then it might be easier to use a different module.

So let us know how you want to use this module, and maybe we can recommend something different.

I used it for Showing flash files.

I was converted the module because it contain features which I need it like Report a broken files , tell a friend , tags , attached files , additional fields , image per file , path of the file , block for new & random files and other features . but I lack visitor counter .


sorry for my English because it not my primary language .

I will try to extract the counter from news module

but please what i should do ?

by taking a single look one can see in this module there is no "visitor counter" field in the mysql.sql. see yourself:

So IMO there is no way to implement it.
This module is a download module and developer dont implement some fields that are important for content modules.

by seeing this kind of requests, I more and more believe that a core content module should manage all of contents like:
- dynamic and static contents
- files (download) - publisher do it well
- pics (gallery) - fmcontent do it well
so we need a full featured content module in the core that can be used as a news, article, content, gallery and download module by just altering templates.
