I will change the plugin.php to config.php
In the future you can add plugins

You mean you will move those options to module preferences?
I didnt find any new bug in newbb 4.3
I will upgrade a 3.08 website to 4.3 maybe in Wednesday. Then i can report.

Newbb latest version on XOOPS 2.5.5

Getting timeout message when trying to post from an iPad. Not getting it from a PC.

Posting this message from iPad, so this forum is working.

This timeout message has been a problem on previous versions of newbb. What is best means to acoid triggering this post block?


"Invalid submission. You could have exceeded session time. Please re-submit or make a backup of your post and login to resubmit if necessary."

set in the php.ini the session.gc_maxlifetime greater

I tested the latest version of Newbb, which is on the svn, I still have the same error as before:
When I select a forum in administration mode, and I click on "submit", I see the following:

I do the same thing on the site xoops.org, and then I get the error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getVar() on a non-object in /home/xoops2x/public_html/modules/newbb/topicmanager.php on line 57

I cant reproduce your error.
in what link you have this error. Please explain in detail with links.
(What is the link of that administration area?)

Some bugs will be corrected. You will be notified when we have solved everything. Wait before installing the module.
