I am running xoops 2.5 and everything was fine until somedays ago when i try to add image or use image via the image manager on (DHTML Form with xCode) i get a blank white pop up and not the normal popup that gives me a category drop down.

When i turn the Debug mode on to inline i get this error

Parse errorsyntax errorunexpected T_STRINGexpecting ',' or ';' in /home/hidden/xoopsdata/data/caches/smarty_compile/df5e7e9a-system-default-default^%%5D^5DD^5DDC7D64%%db%3Asystem_imagemanager.html.php on line 40

What could have gone wrong to a perfectly working script and how can i solve it?

Thanks in advance

Is there a solution or will i have to re-install the whole site again?

Simply delete all files, except index.html, on :
/home/hidden/xoopsdata/data/caches/smarty_compile/

This is the path to delete the Xoops cache.

Run filecheck to make sure that you have all correct files.

It seems like something is being written wrongly to cache, but not knowing your configuration, it's hard to say what it is.

Note: Please do not post in old threads pointing to your current threads. You can always "bump" your current threads, but posting in old threads is not the right way.

Can you please ask or tell me whatever information regarding my configuration i can post to help you/others understand my configuration to help solve the issue?

Read about File Integrity Check in the release notes

Once you do it, let us know the result.

For the start you can copy and paste the info that you have in Admin main view, under "System Overview"

Filecheck only checks that the files contain the proper information. It does NOT check for the proper file permissions.

But this is a good start to make sure your files are all in place.

If it worked and now it doesn't, you could check the filename of the image you are trying to upload for double-dots, e.g. myfile.jpg. (NB the trailing dot). I know that Xoops Protector will bounce double-dot filenames.

Checking your server log for the page request may also reveal the problem.
