Submit news from news module (... /modules/news/submit.php).
Write new articles in instead select "Author's" option shows "Author's ID."
I would like to select "Author's" View. How does it do please?

You mean having a drop down menu or popup for choosing another author name?

I checked some of my xoops sites to be sure and guess this is normal behaviour when having a larger userbase. All sites with just a few accounts for webmasters show a username dropdown, my sites with many registered users show the id field.

I guess this is done because a couple of hundred users don't fit in a simple drop down menu. I see this also in older xoops versions...
