AMS 3.0 and RSS / Ping Services

hi community,

Is there a possibility for RSS in AMS 3.0? I can't find the function.
If not is there a module, that can expand AMS with RSS and perhaps a ping-possibility such as in wordpress?

I need this funcions for a job. If anybody is interested to do this for me, please contact me via pm. Sure! There is a budget for this. - I'd like to pay for the programming-job ...

i add gui 2.5 and rss button and google
...a function to fix strotime date in format dd/mm/yyyy
...a toolbar for the social network.
But is only in italian language

I've added it to XOOPS SVN as a AMS branch

Could you continue with the development there?

Also, could you and Timgno look how to merge News, AMS, xNews together into one module? Since you both seem to work on these modules, it might work out

Ok, it sounds really good. To merge these three modules is very important. - what is the state of the things?

I would need the function "Meta-Description" of the news module in the AMS module. Is there any possibility to get this function in AMS?

If we were to give a one name for these three modules, which would be the right one?

It would be "News".

But we would need to make it "clonable", i.e. the users could name it whatever they want. See Publisher for the mechanism how it should work!

I think, every module should be done that way, so users can name it whatever they want.

I would have thought xnams, stands for the union of this three modules, with the meaning - Xoops News Articles Management System.

What do you think, do you like?
